Reflective Intelligence Magazine

Why did we create reflective intelligence?

We created Reflective Intelligence to change how designers think about Glass. Not as a decorative afterthought, but as a precise architectural decision that shapes space, light, rhythm and brand experience. In our monthly editions of Reflective Intelligence, we speak directly from the studio floor—sharing how we plan, prototype and deliver mirrors and glass that behave like part of the building, not merely what’s fixed to it.

Each issue is our way of opening the factory doors and showing how we approach reflection as part of the architecture, not an accessory added at the end. We explore how mirrors influence proportion, perception, light and movement, and how glass contributes to clarity, atmosphere and long‑term performance. From early‑stage concept planning to technical detailing, we show the decisions that matter: what to reflect, what to conceal, how to integrate lighting, and how to install for optical precision and longevity.

We also use the magazine to speak honestly about the challenges designers face — misaligned reflections, stressed fixings, glare issues, substrate failures, lighting conflicts — and we demonstrate how disciplined specification avoids these problems entirely. Every edition draws from real experience: the millimetre‑accurate alignment we insist on and the material choices we test.

But Reflective Intelligence isn’t only about problem‑solving. It’s about the potential of reflection when it’s done well. We look at the creative opportunities that glass and mirrors offer designers across homes, workplaces, restaurants, hotels and retail environments. Whether it’s amplifying natural light, softening ambience with tinted finishes, expanding compact layouts or creating subtle brand presence, we show how reflection can shape a space without overwhelming it.

Written by our in‑house designers, technicians and specialists, every issue reflects the values that define Go Glass: precision, honesty, innovation and a respect for materials. We don’t treat glass and mirrors as decoration — we treat them as architectural tools that deserve early consideration and thoughtful execution.

Why should I read reflective intelligence?

If you want to understand how we design, how we problem‑solve, and how we achieve the standards we’re known for, Reflective Intelligence is where that story is told in full. We use the magazine to share the thinking that happens long before glass is cut or a mirror reaches the wall — the decisions, tests and technical considerations that shape the final result. It reveals the discipline behind our work: how we assess sightlines, anticipate lighting behaviour, resolve junctions, and ensure every installation remains optically true over time.

For designers who want to work smarter with reflective materials, this magazine becomes a practical companion. We don’t just talk about what’s possible; we show how to achieve it with clarity, confidence and precision. Each issue gives you insight into the principles we apply daily — from aligning mirrors to architectural grids to planning stress‑free fixings and designing lighting in parallel with reflection. These are the techniques that turn good concepts into refined, high‑performance interiors.

Above all, Reflective Intelligence is a place where we share the insights that help great projects become exceptional ones. Whether you’re developing a calm residential space, crafting a striking hospitality environment or shaping a brand‑driven commercial interior, the guidance we offer is drawn directly from real practice. Our aim is simple: to raise the standard of how glass and mirrors are understood, specified and integrated — and to give you the tools to approach reflection with the same level of intent we bring to every project.
