Can sliding glass doors be made to size?

Sliding glass door systems are make from UK manufactured toughened safety glass. Rather than importing standard size glass panels and leaving draughty gaps, we use a high-quality UK glass toughened manufacturer who cuts your glass door to fit your opening size.  Each door is then etched with your design which has been individually scaled to fit your glass door.  Before dispatch the glass door is rigorously checked for quality before being delivered to you ready to install.

What’s the difference between framed and frameless?

All of our systems are frameless which means that there are no unsightly frames to obstruct the view.  The system is supplied with a slimline top track made from aluminium.  The standard finish is a satin anodised which gives a contemporary feel to the system, alternatively, it can be powder coated or you can spray it yourself to match in with your own décor.

Glass is 10mm Toughened glass which has a beautiful polished edge finish. Translucent seals can be supplied, however as there is an overlap at the side of the door, these are not normally required.   There is no channel at the bottom of the door, simply a small guide around 50mm wide which prevents the door being pushed open.

What comes with my sliding glass door system?

Our superior glass sliding door system combines minimalistic design with maximum comfort. The system includes a revolutionary running smoothness and tangible ease of movement.  The system is particularly smooth and silent.

The system is supplied with pre-fitted rollers which contain high quality ball bearings.  Even when moving the door more energetically, the anti-lift mechanism reliably protects the door track jumping.  The innovative damper slows down the sliding door softly and seamlessly in one movement and are equipped with high quality hydraulics ensuring a soft open and close facility.

The aluminium top track can be wall or ceiling mounted and is supplied pre-cut to size ready to fit.  A simple pelmet is then fitted to hide the rollers away and give a elegant appearance.

Is the system available for double glass doors and glass walls?

The system is flexible and can be adapted to any requirement.  Using a 60,80 or 150kg roller, the system can be supplied to take any size door up to 2000.  It is also perfect for double glass doors and can even be made to synchronise so that if one door is opened, the other automatically opens at the same time.

Using a fixed glass panel either side of the single or double glass wall, means that any area up to 5mts wide can be accommodated and full glass walls can be installed to separate rooms.
