Founded on 22nd April 1978, Go Glass has deep roots in both artistry and engineering, tracing back to a legacy intertwined with the renowned sculptor Edward Hodges Baily. Baily, celebrated for his iconic sculpture of Lord Nelson in Trafalgar Square, has been a source of inspiration for Go Glass, infusing the company with a creative spirit and commitment to excellence that echoes through its designs.

The company’s origins are also closely linked to the grandfather’s engineering business, where the seeds of innovation and technical expertise were first sown. This unique blend of inherited artistic and engineering skills has been pivotal in shaping Go Glass into the industry leader it is today. Over the decades, Go Glass has honed its craft, marrying traditional techniques with modern technology to create bespoke glass solutions that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing.

The year 2024 has been a landmark year for Go Glass, marked by significant achievements and industry recognition. In September, the company was honoured with the prestigious Family Business of the Year award at the esteemed EC awards event. This accolade celebrates Go Glass’s enduring commitment to innovation, quality, and family values that have driven its success for decades.

Adding to the company’s triumphs, Managing Director Tracy received the Silver award for Businesswoman of the Year.

Furthermore, Go Glass was shortlisted for two significant awards at the G24 awards in November. The company was a contender for Glass Company of the Year, reflecting its outstanding contributions to the industry and its reputation for delivering high-quality, customised glass solutions. Additionally, Clive, the Design Director, was nominated for the Unsung Hero award, acknowledging his exceptional creativity and behind-the-scenes efforts that have been instrumental in the company’s success.
