You can order cut-to-size, made-to-measure window glass in 3mm and 4mm from stock for collection from our glass production centre in Pampisford, Cambridge. The quickest way to order replacement glass is to use our online pricing and ordering tool below.

4mm glass is also available in toughened safety option,

Average lead time for cut-to-size glass is the next day; however, if you need a fast-track order, just let us know, and we will try to accommodate your request. We can arrange a local Cambridge delivery for you if you need a delivery; please add this to the notes section (There is normally a £20 charge for this).

We do not deliver window glass outside the Cambridge area

How thick is normal window glass?

For sash windows you can use a 3mm glass depending on the size and location of the window, normal window glass is 4mm.

Should I use toughened glass in my window?

If your window is less than 800mm from the floor level, you must use a toughened or laminated safety glass., this is also the case if the window is adjacent to a door panel.  We recommend the use of toughened glass for all windows where there is a safety consideration.

How long will it take for my order to be cut?

Our glass shop normally cuts glass on a next day basis, however we do have a fast-track service, call us before placing your order to check current lead times from the factory 01223 211041.  The quickest way to place an order is using our online quotation and ordering system at the bottom of this page.

Do you fit the glass into my window?

We are specialist glass manufacturers but don’t have a fitting or installation service.  If you are looking to install yourself, there are a number of resources on the you tube website, alternatively, you can source your own local contractor to fit for you.
