What are the benefits of laminated safety glass?
Laminated safety glass offers several benefits, increased safety and security as the glass holds in place when broken, sound insulation with specialist acoustic laminated glass and resistance to break ins.
Is it fire retardant?
Using a laminated pyroguard glass will give resistance to fire
What is the difference between laminated and toughened glass?
Laminated glass is made by bonding 2 panes of glass together with an interlayer. Toughened glass is made of a single sheet which is heated and then cooled rapidly to create a strong durable surface. Laminated glass is better for security.
How does laminated glass protect against UV Rays?
Laminated glass incorporates a PVB (Polyvinyl butyral) interlayer which can block up to 99% of UV rays.
